Hot Hi Tech Gadgets For 2009
In today’s fast paced world, we all love our hi tech gadgets. Whether it’s the iPhone or Wii or Blackberry or other fun new toy, we just can’t get enough of them. For one person a fun new gadget might be the latest cell phone, video game technology or notebook computer, while for others it could be hi tech cookware or the latest golf gadget.
The year 2009 has seen lots of surprises, advances in technology, and some alternatives and price breaks on some high demand hi tech gadgets. There are new gadgets being invented all the time which draw on what has been hot now and in the past. There are also new contenders in the hi tech market to challenge the more established companies like Apple.
At the Consumer Electronics Show in January, some of the hottest 2009 hi tech gadgets were on display. This show unveiled a dazzling array of the latest hi tech gadgets, from practical new advances in technology, to the most wacky, fun and creative gadgetry you could imagine. This show had something to please just about anyone.
A new gadget which was quite innovative and unusual was Promotion and Display Technology’s 3-D web cam. The web cam has two lenses and looks kind of like a space alien. It is mounted to a computer and can send images in 3-D.
Lenovo introduced their ThinkPad W700ds notebook which looks quite interesting. The notebook PC has two screens, with the second screen being adjustable similar to a car rear view mirror. The second screen provides the user with additional space when working with certain applications or pictures that might take over the notebook’s main screen.
Another new Lenovo high tech gadget is their all-in-one, integrate desktop computer that has a remote control for playing games. The remote functions much like Nintendo Wii controllers. Gamers can use the remote to simulate a moving object like swinging a virtual tennis racket.
MSI, a Taipei company, had their new X-Slim Series X320 notebook on display that is only .77 inches thick. This measurement is quite close to Apple’s Macbook Air. The difference is that the MSI notebook is much less expensive at $700 to $1000 with the Air costing at least $1,799.
Well there is our recap of some of the more interesting hi tech gadgets in Vegas this year. As you can see there are some exciting new developments out in the hi tech world. Innovative new products and cheaper alternatives to some of our favorites are making 2009 an exciting year for new hi tech gadgets.
